We’ve been watching the weather forecasts for the past week and even with a drop in the temps and a chance of a passing shower tonight, we have decided to go ahead with our original plans for our Soul Garage Kickoff TONIGHT 4:30-8:30pm at Chuck & Wendy Bier’s home in Cameron. Come when you can. Leave when you must. If you are heading west out of Cameron on Main St., take a left onto 19 3/8 St. before you cross beneath highway 53. See the map below:
With the hot weather over the past few days, the pool water should still be pretty comfortable even with the cooler air temperatures tonight. Yesterday, the pool temp was at 80 degrees! In addition to a party in the pool, there will be 9 Square, yard games, frisbee and football to play catch with along with a campfire and food (chili, nachos, hot dogs, desserts and drinks) to enjoy while you hang out with friends and catch up after being apart for the summer.
Bring a friend or two and a hoodie, a towel, and maybe even an umbrella or rain jacket if there happens to be a passing shower. We will have several canopy tents set up to stay dry beneath if a shower does pass over. If you want to bring a camp/lawn chair, that would be great as well.
