How it Works
We are excited to roll out a new long-term fundraising opportunity through the Soul Garage. You are invited to set up an account with Raise Right and earn funds for your student’s account for Soul Garage events through buying gift cards.
There are multiple ways you can raise funds through this fundraiser:
- Purchase gift cards for your own family from businesses you already are buying from
- Sell gift cards to others
- Buy gift cards to give as gifts
- Online shopping through Raise Right Extension App (See below for more information)
Here are a few example for how it works:
Buying gift cards for your own personal purchases
Let’s say that you regularly shop at Kohl’s for your family. In one year, you spend $200 on items from Kohls. Instead of purchasing items at Kohl’s using cash or a credit card, instead, you buy a $200 gift card to Kohl’s through our fundraiser. Whenever you purchase items from Kohl’s, you use your Kohl’s gift card to buy them. Your cost = $200. Kohl’s has agreed to give back 7% of your purchase as a cash rebate, so $14 will be deposited into your student account at the Soul Garage for that purchase.
Buying gift cards as gifts for others
Instead of purchasing gifts or gift cards for others elsewhere, you purchase gift cards for the gifts you will be giving through this fundraiser. You buy:
(2) $25 Texas Roadhouse gift cards (8%)
(2) $25 TJ Max gift cards (7%)
(5) $10 Starbucks gift cards (4.5%)
(2) $25 Applebees gift cards (8%)
Your cost = $200
Based on the percentages that these brands have agreed to give back as a cash rebate, you will receive $13.75 into your student’s account.

When to Order
You will be able to place your order at any time online if you pay by bank transfer, credit or debit card (small processing fees apply).
Or you can submit your order to the Soul Garage and pay Maranatha by check or cash. Orders will be due on the 2nd Sunday of each month.
Shipping
If you select the “Ship to Home” option for physical cards, then your gift card(s) will be sent directly to you and you will be responsible for the shipping fees.
If you select the “Ship to Organization” option for physical cards, then your order will be consolidated with the other orders for that particular month. The Soul Garage will be charged for the shipping fees and this amount will be shared by all buyers for that particular month and deducted from your student’s account earnings. You will be notified about the amount being deducted for shipping fees and when the cards are available to be picked up.
E-gift cards will be available online and will not incur any shipping charges.
