Due to poor weather forecast on Sunday, August 24, we have moved the Family Water Fun Day to Wednesday, August 20 from 3pm-8pm.
All Soul Garage youth (incoming students through 2025 graduates) and their entire families are invited to come join us Wednesday, August 20 from 3pm-8pm at Eagle Point in Cumberland for a Family Water Fun Day. It’s summer and we are blessed to be surrounded by so many wonderful lakes, so let’s take advantage of that and enjoy a day together at the lake.

Eagle Point Picnic Pavilion at the Eagle Point Campground (1355 Island Avenue

We hope to have several boats lined up to help pull youth tubing, kneeboarding, waterskiing, or maybe even wakeboarding. This is a great opportunity to learn to waterski or kneeboard if you have never done that before. We hope to have a pontoon available for cruising around the lake and swimming off from. We plan to have yard games and 9 square set up by the pavilion. We’ve reserved the pavilion so that will be our base of operations. People can also hike out to narrow spit of land to the south and west where there are some nice sandy spots for swimming.
Bring your lawn chairs and come relax at the lake. If you have your own personal flotation device (life jacket), bring that as well. If you have a kayak or paddle board, feel free to bring those as well.
Eat lunch before coming or bring your lunch to eat there. We will provide burgers and hot dogs and some other food for supper. Feel free to bring your own snacks. Don’t forget the sunscreen and towels.
