Maranatha families and friends are invited to join the Soul Garage for a day at Interstate State Park in St. Croix Falls on Wednesday, August 9. Rappelling and rock climbing will be limited to youth entering 6th grade through 2023 graduates, unless time permits otherwise. However, hiking and playing at the beach are open to families and individuals of all ages.
Those riding with youth leaders should meet at 8:30am at the Soul Garage with an estimated return of 7:00pm. Lunch and transportation will be provided for those who rsvp on the Soul Garage website. $10/person($5/person for lunch and $5/person for transportation – you can just sign up for lunch if you want to drive there or just sign up for transportation and bring your own lunch). Youth and families are welcome to meet us out there or leave early if needed, just communicate with us so we know what to expect. Medical Release forms and Permission to Participate forms are required for all minors (ALL ROCK CLIMBERS MUST HAVE A PERMISSION TO PARTICIPATE FORM REGARDLESS OF WHETHER A PARENT IS ATTENDING THE EVENT.)
If you plan to meet us there, plan to meet us there between 10am and 4pm.
While lunch is provided for those who sign up, supper will be at your own cost at The Drive In in Taylor’s Falls, MN. Click on the link below to view the menu with pricing. We will collect orders and payment in advance so we can place one order at the restaurant rather than have everyone place their own orders.
