Soul Garage @ Skate City March 29

You never know what you might see at Skate City!

All youth 6th-12th grade are invited to join the Soul Garage youth at Skate City for a FUN NIGHT on Wednesday, March 29th from 5:45-8:45pm.  This will be in place of our regular youth group activities.

Parents, please drop off your youth and pick them up directly from Skate City (just south of the movie theater off Highway SS).  You can drop them off any time after 5:45pm.  Please pick them up no later than 9:00pm.

The cost for this FUN NIGHT is FREE!  Originally, we planned to charge a $3 charge to offset the cost, but Steve and Sarah Miller (Skate City owners) have provided us with a significant discount and the youth budget will cover the remainder.

Included is your choice of quad skates or inline skates, free pizza, and one free drink coupon (juice, water, or pop).

The only thing you would need to bring money for is if you want to buy additional food or additional drinks or plan to play arcade games.

We plan to bring card games and board games for any who want to hang out but don’t plan to skate.  So, even if you don’t want to skate, please plan to come and hang out!

Invite your friends and come join us Wednesday, March 29th!

Epic Bonfire Dec 30th

Flaming Arrow1

All youth 7th-12th grade and their friends are invited to come join us Wednesday, December 30th for a winter party and bonfire at the Kuhrt Residence (1817 19th Ave., Rice Lake – just north and west of Walmart).  The party runs from 3:00-6:00pm.  Free food.  Games in the snow…..Yes, there will be snow.  There are 3 days between today and next Wednesday with snow in the forecast – whohoo!  SnowSquare in the Air, Snow Football, maybe even Snow GaGa Ball.  The plan is to light the massive bonfire using a flaming arrow.  It may fail or it may be the coolest thing you have seen in 2015….come to find out!

For those who don’t love winter (silly people), there will be a warm garage with snacks and hot drinks and cool people to hang out with.

Until then….Merry Christmas!  Hope to see you at Maranatha’s Christmas Eve Service (3:00pm or 4:30pm)
