All youth 6th grade through 12th grade are invited to join us at the Soul Garage for our final regular youth group gathering before summer.  Come early any time after 6:00pm to eat FREE food (pulled pork, hotdogs, chips, fruit, veggies, & dessert)!  We will have 9 Square set up inside the gym, GaGa Ball in the game room.

We will be together (6th-12th) grade for the night.  Announcements will be at 7:15pm followed by worship and an hour long dramatic film of the story of Acts.  At the end of the night, we will have our Senior Share Open Mic to wrap up the year.

It ought to be a great night!  Hope to see you there!  Come hungry!

All youth 6th grade – 12th grade are invited to come join us at the Soul Garage Wednesday, May 4th 7:00-9:00pm as we continue exploring the book of Acts.  We will be exploring the story of Ananias and Sapphira and wrestling through the implications for our lives today.

This is a special night also because we will be welcoming in the 6th graders who are invited to be a regular part of youth group moving forward.

Acts Series: Part 3

The way the early believers shared their life together was intense.  Why don’t we find the same sort of life together in our churches today?  What prevents us from loving each other deeply and caring for one another and doing life together like the early followers of Jesus?  These are the questions we explored last night (April 20, 2016) for part 3 of our series in the Book of Acts (Acts 2:42-47).

I challenge all youth to share the video with someone else and have a conversation about the video.

Come join us for our new Soul Garage series exploring the book of Acts and wrestling through the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives today.  The series starts this Wednesday, April 5th!  Have you ever wondered about any of these questions:

  • What is the role of the Holy Spirit?
  • Do all Christians have the Holy Spirit?
  • What does it mean to be baptized by the Holy Spirit?
  • If you have the Holy Spirit should you speak in tongues?
  • Why doesn’t the Holy Spirit lead me in the same dramatic ways as He led the early Christians?
  • Can Christians lose the Holy Spirit?

The book of Acts is one of the most exciting books in the Bible.  Crazy things happened as the Gospel message took root in peoples lives and radical transformation happened.  The Church was growing and the Gospel was spreading across the world.  The Holy Spirit was moving and lives were being changed.  Come with your questions and a willingness to dig in to what the Scriptures will teach us.
