Lies We Are Likely to Believe

In our study of Romans 7:7-12 last night in the Soul Garage I highlighted how “the law is not the enemy – sin is the enemy”. Another way of thinking about it is that “The law is not evil, but has become the agent of evil.” According to verse 11, “Sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, deceived me, and through the commandment put me to death.”

One of the things we must understand is that Satan does not usually attack us using a direct frontal assault. Rather, he uses deception and trickery. Therefore, we must be on guard against lies and deception in our world.

Check out the video linked below to examine what Elizabeth Urbanowicz sees as 7 lies young people in our culture today are likely to believe if we aren’t intentional in combating these lies with truth. Do you agree with what she has identified? Do you disagree? What would you add to her list?
