As we continue our Apologetics Training Series at the Soul Garage, we will be moving indoors starting this week. We will meet in the Soul Garage.
Doors open at 6pm. Games and Café will be open. Programming starts at 6:30pm. We plan to wrap up around 8pm.
We plan to have a “Testimony Time” kinda like our Open Mic Night for about 15 minutes this Wednesday, so come prepared to share in 1 minute or less what God taught you at Fall Retreat or what God is doing in your life even if you did not attend Fall Retreat.
PARENTS: This Wednesday, October 14th is also our Parent Partnership Night. One of our 6 core values in the Soul Garage Youth Ministry is Parent Partnership. Each of the past few years I have invited parents to join us at the Soul Garage on a Wednesday night to get an idea of what a typical night in the Soul Garage is like and to meet with me for a little while to hear about all 6 of our values and our vision for the year as well as talking through challenges you may be dealing with or resources that you have found helpful as well as resources I have compiled to help parents in their role as primary disciple makers of their teens. If you are able, please consider joining us this Wednesday for either the whole night or at least from 7:00-8:00pm. 7pm is our Apologetics Training time and then from 7:30-8:00pm I will connect with parents to share about our vision for the year and share a few resources and hear from you about any challenges you are facing or could use help with as we seek to come alongside you in your parenting journey.
Keep selling wreaths. This is our primary fundraiser for the entire year. It can build from year to year, but you need to get out there and ask people if they are interested. Neighbors, family, friends, teachers, local businesses, church members. If you are willing to deliver to friends or family that live out of town or even out of state, don’t limit yourselves to Barron County only.
