All 6th-12th graders are invited to join us at the Soul Garage this Wednesday, September 9th for our 2020 Fall Kickoff. Due to the possibility of rain and the certainty of cold weather, we have made the decision to primarily host our kickoff INSIDE the Soul Garage. Doors open at 6pm. Please enter through the U-shaped parking lot using the Café door. Later in the evening if it’s not too wet or cold, we will have an optional game time outside playing Ultimate Frisbee or Flag Football. The Kickoff will end at 8:30pm. Parents may pick up their youth anytime before 8:30pm from the main entrance to the Soul Garage.
There is a mandate to wear masks in certain locations and situations (with some exceptions) until September 28th in the state of Wisconsin issued by our governor. Because we don’t have the authority to enforce this mandate and because of the various exceptions that may apply to certain individuals, we leave the decision of mask-wearing to the discretion of each person and family. We ask that you do your best to respect the preferences of each individual or family within our church trusting that God is still sovereign through all of this.
Incoming 6th or 7th graders as well as any other new students and their parents are invited to come at 5:30pm September 9th to receive a tour of the Soul Garage and to get an idea of what to expect during a typical night at youth group. Pastor Tony would also love to answer any questions you may have during this time. We love new students and want to help new students feel comfortable as they transition into becoming part of our Soul Garage family.
