ATTENTION FAMILIES!!
We will NOT be meeting at the Soul Garage for youth group Wednesday, October 25th! INSTEAD, all youth 6th-12th grade are invited to join us at the Rice Lake High School Auditorium this Wednesday from 6:30-9:00pm for a great event called Silver Ring Thing.

The event in Rice Lake on Wednesday, October 25th runs from 7:00-9:00pm.
Doors open at 6:30pm.
This event is part of an international ministry that started in 1995.
The mission of Silver Ring Thing is to “inspire sexual wholeness in this generation through the power of the gospel“.
The vision is “to partner in communities with local churches, pregnancy centers, Christian schools and leaders through transformational events and resources which inspire, educate, and support young people to embrace a lifestyle of Christ-centered sexual purity before and within marriage.”
Three years ago when Silver Ring Thing was last in Rice Lake, the bleachers in the gym were packed and people were sitting on the floor. Many students were positively impacted. Some even committed their lives to Christ as a result of the event.
Parents are encouraged to attend as well. There is a special Parent & Leader Seminar that starts at 7:00pm. After the parent seminar is over, parents are able to join their students in the Auditorium. Parents have the option of joining their students for the entire event if they prefer, rather than attending the Parent & Leader Seminar.

REMINDER ABOUT FALL RETREAT: We will be meeting at the Soul Garage by 3:45pm and hoping to leave as soon as we can after 4:00pm. It’s going to be COLD. Throughout the weekend, the high temp will be about 41 and the low will be about 21. With moderate wind, it will feel even cooler. These are some of the coldest temps we will have experienced so far this fall, so PLEASE COME PREPARED. The forecast also shows a possibility of 1-3 inches of SNOW at the camp Thursday night. Come prepared with some winter gear to make playing in the snow more fun!
