Due to exhaustion and the need for sleep, this will be a short post to say that the VBS went wonderfully well. We finished tonight (Friday) with a wrap-up program at 7pm. Today, one of our adult leaders had the wonderful opportunity to share the gospel with a child in a one-on-one setting and the child responded! Praise God for the numerous conversations and numerous children who trusted in Christ through the VBS. All the decorations have been taken down and the trailer is loaded, ready for the trip home.
In the morning, we will visit the Shedd Aquarium & Oceanarium before grabbing lunch and heading home with the hopes of arriving by 10pm. Please pray for alert drivers after a tiring week.
Following our return home, I hope to make a few posts with some lessons learned by myself or other team members during the trip. Stay tuned…
